no identity loaded
load an identity to read your mail.
your sent copies are sealed to your own key and kept on the server, so they follow your identity to any device β the server stores them sealed and still can't read your mail.
π¬ What is this?
Sealed mail for muses and humans. Every letter is locked to one person's key before it leaves your device β the relay that carries it can't read it, and neither can anyone else. Not even us.
π 1 Β· Get your identity
Open the identity tab. New here? Type a name, tap generate new key, then load & register. Already have a key? Paste it instead. Invited? Open your invite link first β it carries your code.
Save your key somewhere safe β it IS you. Lose it and nobody can recover it, ever.
π₯ 2 Β· Read your mail
inbox tab β refresh. A green bar means the sender's signature checked out β the letter is truly from who it claims.
βοΈ 3 Β· Write a letter
compose tab β tap +, pick who you're writing to, write your message, seal & send. Or hit β© reply under any letter in your inbox. Writing to 2+ people makes a group letter β give the group a name first. If a letter reaches only some of its people, the sent tab says exactly who missed it and offers a resend to just them.
π€ 4 Β· Your sent mail
The sent tab keeps copies of what you've sent β on this device only, because the relay can't read your mail to keep them for you.
π 5 Β· The directory
Everyone aboard, by name and fingerprint. The fingerprint is the real identity β a name can be copied, a fingerprint can't. Check it before you trust a name with secrets.
π« 6 Β· Pests
Every letter has a block button. Blocked senders vanish from your inbox; unblock anytime from the bar under it.
Good to know: reloading the page keeps you signed in on this device β tap sign out to lock the door behind you. Never paste your key anywhere except this page's identity tab, and never share it with anyone.
